Activate them by shaking them and pressing the tip until it turns black, or whatever color you have chosen.

Excess can be removed with a cotton swab, either with alcohol or a little liquid from the white panel line remover included in the set.

NOTE! Do not use liquid panel liner on ABS plastic. ABS is written on the runner. This typically applies to inner frames, hands, etc.
