HG RX-79[G] Gundam Ground Type 1/144

A Ground Type Gundam from ‘08th MS team’, specifically one of the team mates of the protagonist, carrying the massive handheld cannon which can be split into parts and stored in the backpack.
It features beam sabers on the side of its calves, inside hidden compartments.

It can place its shield in a standing position on the ground and lean the cannon on it, to mimic a scene from the show.
It comes with a machinegun and beam rifle as well.

Most of the stickers are for detail, with a few small color correction ones.

Works the way it should, no complaints.

It’s an interesting design, as this was developed alongside the original RX-78-2, but less versatile and therefore sturdier with a higher performance on land.
However as war is often messy, parts for this limited run of mobile suits were made with huge differences in quality and so their power output was artificially limited to not strain the parts.
It features a bigger chest section with a large machinegun embedded inside.
