If you're looking to find out which MG Unicorn is the "best" non-MGEX version, this one is it (or the OVA if you don't like the FA options).
The FA Unicorn Ver.Ka. is, besides the MGEX, the most solid MG version, with the leg issues of the original Ver.Ka. fixed.
It should go without saying, but this is an extremely weighed down kit by its *groups* of weapons on each arm.
I highly, highly, HIGHLY, recommend getting an Action Base A (black or grey, not white like mine) to hang it onto, as it frees the weight from the loose waist. The accompanying booster holders are awful, you can't really stand this thing on its legs without a ton of effort (or modifying the stands), it's far too unstable.
I'd also recommend buying water slides for it, as it only comes with stickers and dry-transfers.
It's a massive display piece, and I mean *massive* in the true sense of the word, as it's just a solid brick of plastic that sucks in attention. Attached on the image are the MG and RG versions (also recommended), the MG with painted V-fin/custom waterslide decals and the RG just with its stickers.
Note that this is a 2011 kit that's a re-dressing of an older kit. For its time, it's impressive, but the combination of the heavy armaments and the weaknesses of the transformed limbs, makes it very hard to handle and near impossible to pose, it's just too weak.
If you hate money and want an "ultimate" MG, everything necessary to make the Full Armor version is said to be compatible with the MGEX, though you will have to modify the inner legs to attach the grenade holders (just a part swap/removal afaik).

The shipping was very fast and the hand written note really made the whole experience feel personal! However both the RX-0 and Geara Zulu that I ordered had quite a few dents and deformations on the packaging. More packaging material would definitely be a good addition to limit the damage on the gunpla boxes.
