NOTE: The current description fits 30MP Rei Ayanami and is wrong - I'll include the detailed description of what you get with the kit, down below. As cool as it would've been, you don't get the Spear of Longinus with Kita, but you do get a cool light blue guitar instead!
30 Minutes Preference are 'premium' sister kits that are a little more detailed than their counterparts.
Note that 30MP is not the same as 30MS, these are less generalized kits, so they are not fully compatible. In this example, the waists and legs are thinner, with a different torso structure, however you should be able to swap hair, face plates, arms and so on, for the most part, just don't be surprised if something doesn't fit perfectly.
Kita Ikuyo is a pun name and means 'Here I am! Let's go!", which fits her extrovert personality, to Bocchi's introverted crippling anxiety.
Aesthetics:
The kit (like all of them) represents Kita in her stage outfit (the logo is molded detail).
She has an alternative set of sitting legs, with a molded plastic skirt, but otherwise stands on bare legs with either a relaxed or dynamic skirt, made of rubber in the model kit form.
Kita's guitar is color separated, but most of the silver detail in the product images, is painted. The guitar straps have a textured side, so they don't look like cheap plastic.
Her hair also comes with more dynamic bangs.
Compatibility:
As far as I can tell she (and the others) uses Color B skin parts.
As noted the waist and legs are slimmer, so there are going to be some compatibility issues with 30MS, so even though you get an extra pair of legs, the use case is going to be limited, mostly to the other band girls.
The hair, face plates, arms+hands and shoes should all be entirely fine for use with other kits, just note that she doesn't have that little hair tab, so you can't put cat ears on her. A crime, I know.
You can put the guitar on pretty much anything as it is.
Equipment:
2 Face Plates - Smiling and Happy with open mouth (or singing)
2 blank Face Plates
1 sheet of waterslide decal expressions
1 Guitar with two straps (with flowers on them)
1 Pedal Setup for the guitar and a wire
1 Microphone Stand (adjustable)
10 various Hands (for guitar use) - The pegs are fixed to the arms
3 pairs of Sneakers and school uniform Loafers
1 pair of bare Legs + sat down lower body
3 Skirts
1 set of Alternate Hair Bangs
1 Zip tie bracelet accessory
Conclusion:
While not a total repeat, most of the body is the same as Bocchi, which is to be expected since they're wearing the same band t-shirt and use the same style of body. A little disappointing, considering the steep price for these kits. That being said, you *can* just get Bocchi by herself, you don't need to buy the whole band.
Like Bocchi, you get a big sheet of expressions (18) and most of them are great for other kits, using Kita's green eyes and red-outlined eyebrows (which pass as brown).
For the guitar, I recommend using a regular/fine tip silver marker to highlight the strings easily. I'd avoid using the gunpla markers, as they leave large amounts of paint that'll just flood in between the strings.
I tried dry-brushing silver paint on, but it mostly just made a mess that I had to clean up. Lesson learned.
Gold or copper also works fine, if you don't want a steel guitar look.
